For this childcare facility, which accommodates over 200 children from infants through pre-kindergarten, a cohesive system of reception artwork, mural art, and classroom graphics was designed. One of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of the project was the development of the classroom illustrations. Each classroom is named after a plant or fruit and features a large sliding glass door color-coded by age group. The illustrations were created to be simple and easily recognizable for children, while also functioning as visually engaging artwork for parents. Each piece was thoughtfully composed to work both when the door is closed and when it is open, creating a layered effect that adds depth and visual interest to the space.
